Tanzid, Pritom centuries headline drawn NCL clash

Rajshahi Division's Tanzid Tamim and Pritom Kumar both struck centuries during their drawn match against Dhaka Division on the final day of their fourth-round fixture in the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL) in Rajshahi on Tuesday.

Tanzid hammered 140 off 151 deliveries with eight fours and seven sixes, while Pritom made 136 off 151 balls as Rajshahi declared their second innings on 360 for five, setting Dhaka a target of 277 after resuming the day on 151 for two.

It was Tanzid's fifth first-class hundred, while Pritom registered his third in the longer format.

Dhaka reached 109 for four before both teams agreed to shake hands.
Anisul Islam and Taibur Rahman scored 44 and 41 respectively for Dhaka, while Rajshahi's Nihaduzzaman picked up 3 for 27.

Meanwhile, Khulna Division took a lead of 175 runs at stumps on day three after reaching 239 for four in their second innings against Sylhet Division at the Sylhet Outer Stadium.

Imranuzzaman scored 59, while Mohammad Mithun and Afif Hossain remained unbeaten on 53 and 38, respectively.

Earlier, Sylhet added 16 runs to their overnight score of 307 for seven before being bowled out for 323 in their first innings, earning a 64-run lead over Khulna.

Khulna pacer Sofor Ali was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with 3 for 66.
