Rana strikes thrice as Bangladesh fight back

Bangladesh speedster Nahid Rana led Bangladesh's fightback in the morning session by striking thrice as Zimbabwe were reduced to 133-4 at Lunch on Day 2 of the first Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today, still trailing by 58 runs.
Rana first dismissed both openers with short-pitch deliveries, getting Ben Curran (18) caught at short leg and Brian Bennet (56) caught behind.
Later, in the penultimate over of the session Rana induced a faint outside edge to dismiss skipper Craig Ervine (eight) which the on-field umpire had initially given not out but had to reverse his call after Bangladesh took a review.
Pacer Hasan Mahmud took the other wicket to fall in the session, rattling the stumps of Nick Welch (two) with an in-swinging delivery.
Sean Williams is holding down the fort for Zimbabwe and is unbeaten on 33 with Wessly Madhevere at the other end batting on four.
Earlier, Zimbabwe had begun the day on 67-0, replying to Bangladesh's first innings tally of 191.
After both openers and Welch departed in quick succession to leave Zimbabwe on 88-3, Williams and Ervine formed a 41-run stand before Rana struck for the third time.
