All-rounder Nasir Hossain has been cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to return to official cricket after fulfilling all the conditions set for his comeback. 

Following a two-year ban for breaching the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code, Nasir is now eligible to play again. Today, he is playing in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League for Rupganj Tigers against Gazi Group, where he has already made an impact by taking one wicket for 31 runs in 10 overs. 

The 33-year-old was handed a two-year ban from all cricket in September 2023, with six months suspended, for breaching the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code.

As per the terms of the sanction, Nasir has now fulfilled all requirements, including completing the mandatory Anti-Corruption Education session. This has paved the way for his eligibility to re-enter official cricket as of April 7, 2025.

Nasir represented Bangladesh in 115 international matches across all formats between 2011 and 2018.
