Mustafizur, Rishad shortlisted for The Hundred 2026 auction

Star Sports Report

Bangladesh pace spearhead Mustafizur Rahman and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain have been shortlisted for The Hundred Auction 2026, scheduled to be held at the Piccadilly Lights in central London on March 11 and 12.

The duo were included in the auction longlist unveiled on Monday, which features more than 400 cricketers. However, none of the other 21 Bangladeshi players who had registered for the draft made the list.

Mustafizur has been assigned the highest base price among the Bangladesh contingent at £100,000, while Rishad carries the second-highest reserve price of £75,000.

No Bangladeshi cricketer has featured in The Hundred since the tournament’s inception in 2021.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) last month confirmed that nearly 1,000 players from 18 countries had registered for the 2026 auction.
