The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday included the likes of Mominul Haque, Taijul Islam, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, and Anamul Haque as it announced the BCB XI squad for their upcoming tour of India this month. 

Led by Mohammad Mithun, the BCB XI are scheduled to play two four-dayers and three one-day matches against Ranji Trophy playing side Tamil Nadu State. 

The BCB XI squad will leave for Chennai on October 8 and will begin their series with the first four-day match at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 12. The second four-dayer will begin on October 19 while the three one-dayers are slated for October 27, 29, and 31, respectively. 

This series against India's Tamil Nadu side has been arranged by the BCB as an alternative following cancellation of the series against Afghanistan. 

This series will also offer match-practice for the likes of Mominul, Taijul, and other national Test players ahead of the Test series against India in December.
