India women’s team to arrive in Dhaka on July 6

The India women's team will arrive in Dhaka on July 6 to play three T20Is and as many ODIs against the hosts at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. 

The ODI series, which will start from July 16 after the completion of the T20I series, is part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship -- contested by ten teams to determine qualification for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup. 

The tour marks the first series under the ICC's Women's FTP 2022-2025 to be hosted by Bangladesh. 

Nigar Sultana Joty and her troops is yet to win a game from their previous two series -- against New Zealand and Sri Lanka -- of the ICC Championship. The Tigresses lost two matches while remaining four were washed out.

Bangladesh occupy number eight position with three points while India sit at the top with 12 points from six matches.
