BCB set for October 6 elections

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) election commission on Sunday announced the schedule for the upcoming board elections, with voting set to be held on October 6.
According to the schedule, the draft voters' list will be released on September 22, and objections can be filed until 5:00 PM on September 23. Hearings on objections will take place on September 24, with the final voters' list published the following day.
Nomination papers will be distributed on September 26 and 27, while submissions must be made by September 28. Scrutiny of nomination papers and their announcement is scheduled for September 29, followed by appeals and hearings on September 30.
Candidates will have until October 1 to withdraw their nominations, after which the final list of candidates will be confirmed. Postal and e-ballot options will also be available on the same date, with completed ballots required to be submitted to the returning officer's office by 2:00 PM on October 6.
Voting will be conducted between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on October 6, with results expected by 6:00 PM. The election for the posts of president and vice-president is scheduled for 7:30 PM on the same day.
