BCB grants NOC to Nahid Rana for PSL final

Star Sports Report

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revisited its earlier decision regarding the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to national team fast bowler Nahid Rana for participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20.

Upon review, the BCB has decided to grant Nahid Rana permission to rejoin his franchise for the final of the tournament scheduled to be held on 3 May, said a press release from the board.

This decision has been made considering the significance of participating in the final of a major global franchise competition, which is viewed as an important step in the continued development of the player. More importantly, the team management and BCB medical team has provided clearance, confirming that his participation in the match will not adversely affect his fitness, workload management or availability for national duty.

Nahid Rana remains on track to be available for selection for the first Test against Pakistan, set to commence in Dhaka on 8 May, the press release further said.
