Bangladesh to play one-off Lord's Test against England in 2027

Bangladesh will return to the Home of Cricket for the first time in 17 years when they play a one-off Test against England at Lord's from May 28 to June 1 next year, with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirming the full itinerary for Bangladesh men's and women's tours in its 2027 international schedule announced on Thursday.

The Lord's fixture will be Bangladesh's only Test of the tour and marks the first time England will host Bangladesh in a Test since 2010.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said he was looking forward to welcoming both the Bangladesh men's and women's teams.

"We are excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord's, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010 while also hosting Bangladesh Women in a white-ball series," Gould said.

While the men's side will play only the lone Test, the Bangladesh women's team will conclude England Women's home summer with a six-match white-ball series comprising three T20Is and three ODIs.

The T20I series will begin at Northampton's cinch County Ground on September 8 before moving to Taunton's Cooper Associates County Ground on September 10 and concluding at New Road in Worcester on September 12.

The three-match ODI series will then be played at Hove's County Ground on September 17, St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury on September 21 and Ambassador Cruise Line Ground in Chelmsford on September 24.
