Australia captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram on Friday.

Australia made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Aaron Hardie in place of Xavier Bartlett. Bangladesh, meanwhile, made two changes, with Nahid Rana and Nasum Ahmed replacing Shoriful Islam and Mahedi Hasan.

Speaking at the toss, stand-in captain Tawhid Hridoy revealed that regular T20I skipper Litton Das still requires more time to recover from the injury that also ruled him out of the series opener.

Bangladesh trail the three-match series 1-0 after suffering a four-wicket defeat in the opening T20I at the same venue on Wednesday.
