Afghanistan bat first in final ODI against Bangladesh

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi today.
Having already clinched the three-match series with commanding wins in the opening two games, Afghanistan will look to complete a clean sweep, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz's side aim to salvage some pride after back-to-back batting collapses.
Bangladesh's top order has struggled throughout the series, failing to cope with Afghanistan's spin-heavy attack led by Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi. The visitors will hope for a more disciplined effort with the bat to end the series on a positive note.
Bangladesh XI: 1 Mohammad Naim, Saif Hassan, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (capt), Nurul Hasan (wk), Shamim Hossain, Rishad Hossain, Nahid Rana, Tanvir Islam, Hasan Mahmud.
Afghanistan XI: Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wicketkeeper), Ibrahim Zadran, Sediqullah Atal, Ikram Alikhil, Hashmatullah Shahidi (captain), Azmatullah Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, AM Ghazanfar, Nangeyalia Kharote and Bilal Sami.
