Mushy thanks Allah for Shakib’s wellbeing
The pocket-battleship of Bangladesh national cricket team, Mushfiqur Rahim expressed his gratitude to the Almighty Allah for the wellbeing of his teammate Shakib Al Hasan after the ace allrounder escaped a horrific helicopter accident at Cox’s bazaar today.
All thanks to Almighty Allah.. this is what happens when you have blessings of 170 million people... just happy to hear Shakib is safe and sound. But, may Allah grant Jannah to the person who lost his life. Let's pray for the departed soul, wrote Mushfiq on his Facebook page.
Shakib escaped an accident earlier today in Cox’s Bazar as the helicopter that took him there crashed while it was on its return journey.
After Shakib landed at his destination at 9:30am, the chopper took off with five passengers including its pilot and crashed around 10:30am in Redu Khal area near Inani sea-beach. One person was killed while four others were injured in the accident.
“I am fine, but feel rather shocked at the news of the chopper crash.” Shakib explained when Rabeed Imam, media manager of the Bangladesh Cricket Board spoke to him today. Shakib is scheduled to return to Dhaka tomorrow after completing the shoot for a commercial.
