CARBERRY HITS 100 UPON RETURN

Former England batsman Michael Carberry scored a hundred for Hampshire in his first appearance since July 2015, when he was diagnosed with cancer. The left-hand batsman made his Test debut against Bangladesh in Chittagong in March 2010 and went on to a total of six Tests, six ODIs and one T20I for England. Having undergone a successful operation, the 36-year-old marked his return in fine fashion, scoring 100 runs off 121 balls, a knock that featured 17 boundaries. He was given a standing ovation as he left the field after his dismissal.
