U-19’s lose to Otago A
Bangladesh Under-19 side lost to Otago University side in their preparation match for the 2018 World Cup at Dunedin today.
Having won the toss, Bangladesh skipper Saif Hassan chose to bat first but the young Tigers only managed to reach 170 in 40.22 overs before they were all out. Saif scored a team-high 69-ball 54 and Afif Hossain contributed with a 44-ball 40.
Otago A notched up the required runs in 36.5 overs courtesy of a 96-ball 73 from GW Crowdis. Otago lost four wickets on their way to overhauling the total set by the Tigers. Robiul Haque had an impressive outing as he picked up three wickets for 16 runs from his six overs.
