Alamgir join in Ittyadi
Alamgir was a young lad during the Liberation War days of 1971. He used to go from camp to camp on a boat during the monsoon season and sing to the freedom fighters. His weakness for roles in Liberation War features stems from these memories he carries from the days of the war.
This weakness has also inspired him to join in on popular magazine show Ittyadi's next instalment, where he will be playing the role of a freedom fighter. It will be his first appearance on a TV production after many years.
Alongside the veteran actor will be popular director Shahiduzzaman Selim, Mir Sabbir and Emon. They will also be joined by a troupe of 30 children who will perform a patriotic song. Written, directed and hosted by the legendary Hanif Shangket, the show will air on BTV for the upcoming Eid.
