The highlight this week are the rally cars we want to have but can't. 1:43 has the widest collection of the most notable rally cars on earth. Today's pick are the 2003 Subaru Impreza WRC and the Lancia Delta Integrale by Altaya.
Pros:
The price is usually within 1000-1800 taka depending on what model is being sold. Details are phenomenal for being budget models complete with detailed seat belts, roll cages and more. Decals are terrific and wheels are superbly reproduced.
Cons:
The Subaru is perfectly proportioned but the Lancia has badly cast wheel arches. Lights are simple plastic lenses without much of a reflector behind. Lights are affixed with tabs clearly visible that detract from the realism.
Verdict:
The casting variations are annoying but in the end, you can get all your rally car fixes for about the price of an average-tasting burger.
