‘Violent acts to save war criminals’

Sector Commanders Forum (SCF) Vice-Chairman Abu Osman Chowdhury today alleged that violent activities are being carried out in the country to save the war criminals.

“Orders are coming from London, which are being executed in the country,” Osman claimed without mentioning any names in this regard.

Addressing a national convention in the capital's Institution of Engineers today, the freedom fighter made the comments.

Sammilito Nagorik Samaj, a citizens' platform, held the programme protesting the ongoing violent activities against general people in the name of political movement.

Abu Osman also urged the government to immediately execute the verdicts against the convicted war criminals.

“Set a podium at Suhrawardi Udyan to execute the verdicts publicly. So that, those carrying out the violence become afraid,” he added.
