BNP’s ‘Vision 2030’ a political milestone: Moudud
BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed today termed his party’s “Vision 2030” as a historical document and said it will be a milestone in the country’s political history.
“I think the vision 2030 will be an important political document in the political history of Bangladesh,” Moudud said while addressing a discussion organised by Bangladesh Nagorik Forum at Jatiya Press Club.
Moudud said the prime minister’s executive authority has given rise to a form of “autocratic practices within the democratic system”.
“If we are voted to power, we will not indulge in politics of vengeance. Rather, we will give chairmen posts of Committee on Public Accounts and Committee on Public Undertakings to the opposition party,” he added.
Moudud also said that his party chief Khaleda Zia will come up with details about the form of the election-time supportive government soon so that the next general election is held in a free and neutral manner.
On May 10, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia unveiled her “Vision 2030” through a press conference.
