2 construction workers die falling off crane in N’ganj

Two construction workers died after falling from a crane while working at an under-construction site in Narayanganj’s Roopganj upazila this morning.

The two have been identified as Jewel, 26, of Noakhali and Tushar,27, from Sirajganj.

The accident took place around 11:00am when the victims were working at the construction site in Ruposhi, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Sajaul Islam of Roopganj Police Station.

The two was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared them dead, Sajaul also said.
