The deceased was identified -- through his fingerprint -- as Joynal Mia (40), hailing from Kishoreganj's Karimganj Upazila.

On information, police rushed there and saw his throat was slit and there were stab marks in the abdomen.
A crime scene unit of CID later collected his fingerprints and identified him.
Police later sent the body to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
The SI said they contacted his wife who said Joynal was an auto-rickshaw driver and used to live in Rayerbazar area.
