Unveiling Paris's new love affair: Tasmim Zobaear's runway magic!

In the heart of Paris Fashion Week, at the opulent Westin Paris - Vendome, Bangladeshi designer Tasmim Zobaear unveiled his Couture Spring-Summer 2024 collection. A love letter to the city of Paris and its women, the collection is an embodiment of elegance, grace, and unapologetic glamour. With reigning Miss World Colombia, Camila Pinzon, as the showstopper, the event was nothing short of spectacular.

"Paris is more than just a city. It's a way of life, an embodiment of elegance and grace," says Zobaear. When asked about the inspiration behind his collection, he elaborated, "In Paris, fashion is very much seen as an art form with deep roots in craftsmanship and creative flair."

The collection showcased a harmonious blend of three distinct colour palettes, designed to seamlessly integrate into the daily life of a Parisian. In order to give us a glimpse into his creative process, Zobaear explains that "the implementation of an idea or solution in the creative tapestry is when an individual begins the process of transforming the thoughts into a final product."

An event of this magnitude requires extensive preparation. "Getting to know the team's members was the biggest obstacle. I'm used to working with a sizable and diversified team. This helped me thrive on finding the best in my colleagues," Zobaear shares. Despite the hurdles, he finds pride, "While shining on independent work, my secret is also hard work and discipline, along with the ability to cope with others in group projects."

Camila Pinzon, the reigning Miss World Colombia, graced the runway in a chic nude, crystal-heavy ensemble, embodying the spirit of the collection. Her presence gave the event an extra touch of glitz and glamour.

"If you care about the environment and enjoy fashion, you're in for a treat," Zobaear said when asked about his future ambitions. Fashion is all about being eco-friendly and sustainable." He also hinted at upcoming collaborations with celebrities from Bangladesh, stating, "Once I find my ideal celebrities in Bangladesh, I plan to work with them to create content that showcases my brand and resonates with the audience. I have plans to conduct photoshoots in historical places in Bangladesh next year."

In a competitive industry like fashion, staying motivated is crucial. "I always try to maintain a positive mindset and believe in my abilities. Surrounding myself with positive influences, such as encouraging friends, is crucial," says Zobaear, sharing his mantra for success.
