Sabyasachi didn't retire, he was annoyed by Dhaka journalists
When Sabyasachi Chakraborty landed in Dhaka in January for the 21st Dhaka International Film Festival, he made headlines when he announced that he will be retiring from the film industry. However, he made a completely new revelation with the Indian local media, Anandabazar.
The "Feluda" actor expressed his frustration over the whole situation.
"They were bombarding me with questions about my next project. When I told them I don't know, they asked me whether I was retiring then I told them, if that's what you want to believe then that's true. The thing is I was really annoyed by their question and so I decided to reply like that. I don't know why they would portray my answer in such a wrong way", revealed the actor.
The actor further addressed the whole issue of reducing his work.
Sabyasachi explained, "I accept that I have reduced the quantity of my work. But that does not mean that I have retired. Let's say, after being served tea, I said that I will not drink tea now. Does that mean I quit drinking tea?", replied the actor.
When asked about whether he will be really retiring from movies, the actor replied not at all.
"Look, I am that age where I am getting old so I took a temporary break from work. But that doesn't mean I won't act," concluded Sabyasachi.
