Popular actress Sabila Nur has officially stepped into the world of writing. However, this isn't entirely new for her, as she has previously written stories for television dramas. At least two dramas have been made based on her scripts. But this time, she has debuted as an author at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair.

Interestingly, Sabila remained quiet about her literary venture throughout the month. It wasn't until February 26—just two days before the fair ended—that she briefly announced the news. Sharing the book cover on her social media, she wrote, "My first book, 'Bhalobasha Otopor'. It comprises 10 short stories. It is available at this year's Ekushey Book Fair, published by Anannya Prokashoni, Pavilion-27."

With such a late announcement, the Ekushey Book Fair concluded before many found out about her book. Readers and fans expressed both regret and surprise in the comment section of her post. In an industry where celebrities often promote their books extensively—appearing at the fair and engaging with media—Sabila's low-key approach left many wondering why she chose to remain so unpublicised.

Regarding her book, Sabila Nur told local media, "Acting is and will always be my priority. I simply write occasionally, so I don't consider myself a professional writer. That's why I chose to keep it low-key. However, my book contains 10 wonderful stories co-written with Salam Russell. Even though the book fair has ended, 'Bhalobasha Otopor' is still available online."

Notably, Sabila had previously ventured into storytelling for television. In 2021, her script was adapted into the drama "Parapar", directed by Rafat Mozumder Rinku, in which she played the lead role. The following year, in 2022, she wrote the story for Mahmudur Rahman Hime's directorial drama "Ridika" and starred in it alongside Yash Rohan.
