Actress Sabila Nur has dismissed as false a photocard circulated on social media that attributed to her a comment referencing a political party ahead of the election.

In a post shared on her official fan page yesterday, the actress clarified that the photocard circulating in her name has no basis in reality. “A fake photocard involving me has been circulated. I want to make it clear that if I ever make a statement on any issue, it will only be published through the country’s mainstream media,” she wrote.

Sabila Nur also raised concerns about the misuse of artificial intelligence, noting that misleading AI-generated images and videos have recently placed many artistes, including herself, in uncomfortable situations. “Perhaps some people create these out of affection or emotion, but they cause confusion and spread false messages, which is not desirable at all,” she added.

Urging audiences to remain cautious, the actress said her viewers have always been responsible and expressed hope that they would continue to be vigilant against false or misleading content. She also requested everyone to refrain from engaging with such material.

On the professional front, Sabila Nur has recently completed shooting for the film “Bonolota Express”, directed by Tanim Noor, in which she stars opposite Sariful Razz. She is also set to appear alongside Shakib Khan in the upcoming film “Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, which is currently under production.

This will mark her second on-screen collaboration with Shakib Khan, following “Taandob”, directed by Raihan Rafi, which was released during Eid-ul-Azha last year.
