‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ first look photos fail fan expectations

Karan Johar is all set to make a comeback in film industry with his upcoming directorial project, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani". The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer has created a wave of mixed reactions in the audience with posters and the teaser.

Recently, the director of the film also shared the first look test pictures of Ranveer and Alia on social media. He captioned on the post, "Our very first look test of the film! When we were locking looks for ROCKY and RANI."

However, the first look test which features Ranveer and Alia, didn't seem to meet the fans' standards. Quite a few netizens had even critiqued the pictures.

One of the fans shared, "At the first look test itself, you should have dropped Ranveer Singh." Meanwhile, another wrote, "No chemistry, and this look doesn't suit them and doesn't go with your aesthetic."

Another netizen commented on the director's post, "Ranveer's 'Gunday' look doesn't fit in this movie... Bad move... Ranbir is far classy."

Many more netizens have shared similar comments of the director's post. "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" also features renowned stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, among others. The film is set to hit the theatres this July 28.
