Muhammad Zafar Iqbal’s first song to release tonight
The first song written by prominent author Muhammad Zafar Iqbal for the film, "Adventure of Sundarban", will be released tonight. The song titled "Ay Ay Shob Taratari", was voiced by Emon Chowdhury and Joyeeta Dutt with the music composition by Emon Chowdhury.
"As this film is based on a book of Zafar Iqbal sir, I requested him to write a song for us. At first, he didn't agree as he never written a song, but later on, he gave me the lyrics. Finally, the song will be released tonight. I am very excited. I hope the audience will love the song," told the director of the film, Abu Raihan Jewel.
The film was shot in Dhaka, Mongla Port, the Sundarbans, and scenic locations along rivers in Chandpur and Barishal.
The government grant-winning film is based on Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal's novel "Ratuler Raat, Ratuler Din". Apart from Pori Moni and Siam Ahmed, the film also features Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Azad Abul Kalam, Monira Mithu, Kochi Khandakar and Ashish Khandakar, among others.
The film is expected to hit theatres on January 20.
