‘Mission Raniganj’ trailer out: A tale of bravery and humanism
Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's pair-up in their last film, "Kesari", gained immense love from the audience. Now, the pair is set to return to the silver screen in Tinu Suresh Desai's upcoming film "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue".
Sharing a glimpse into the world of "Mission Raniganj", Akshay dropped the trailer of the film on his social media today. He captioned the post, "Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill ji, this trailer is a tribute in your memory, saluting your courage."
Diving into the trailer, fans witness a horrid event where a huge group of miners are stuck in the coal mines of Raniganj. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, who portrays the role of the engineer Jaswant Singh, is determined to save the innocent miner at any cost.
"Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue" is a biopic based on Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill who saved sixty-five lives from a dreadful mining accident that occurred at Raniganj in 1989.
The film also features Rajesh Sharma, Gaurav Prateek, Pawan Malhotra, Kumud Mishra, Lankesh Bhardwaj and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, amongst others.
"Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue" is slated to hit the theatres on October 6.
