Pori Moni's portrayal of the resilient Supti, navigating life's harsh realities while enduring pregnancy in Anam Biswas' "Rongila Kitab", has earned her widespread acclaim. The performance secured her the Best Actress award at the fourth edition of Blender's Choice–The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2024.

The star, who lives with her two children, Punnyo and Priom, was welcomed home with an adorable surprise after her win.

Sharing the precious moment on Facebook, she wrote: "Now they are the ones who open the door of my home. After Nanabhai passed away, no one ever waited for me to return like this. Last night, when I came back home with the award, the moment the door opened, both of them leapt into my lap. What more could one want in life. I only pray to Allah that no evil eye ever touches this happiness. Ah! What a beautiful and complete life I have. As lovely as a fairytale. Alhamdulillah."

Earlier, while receiving the award on Sunday (September 7), Pori Moni reflected on her role, saying, "I have received many awards in my life, and perhaps I will receive more in the future, but this one will always remain special to me. It is different because this award came for playing the role of a mother, something I was personally going through at that time. It allowed me to relive the journey of my own motherhood."
