Kangana Ranaut backs obsessive work culture, doesn’t want India to be lazy
Kangana Ranaut, the actress turned parliamentarian, recently took to her Instagram story to share her views on Monday memes. The "Queen" star stressed the need to normalise a rigorous work culture, stating that India, not being a developed nation, cannot afford laziness.
Kangana Ranaut shared a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking about his commitment to working 24/7 for the nation's development. She wrote, "We need to normalise obsessive work culture and stop with waiting for the weekends and complaining about Mondays memes."
Kangana has set a precedent by becoming the fourth woman ever elected to the Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh and the first individual not hailing from a former royal family.
She achieved a decisive victory over her Congress rival, Vikramaditya Singh, the heir of Rampur state and the current state public works minister, winning by a margin of 74,755 votes in the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency.
Following her clean sweep in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana faced an unfortunate incident at the Chandigarh airport. During a security check last Thursday a CISF constable struck her across the face, leading to an unpleasant altercation.
Constable Kulwinder Kaur, reportedly disgruntled with Kangana Ranaut's views on the farmers' protests, was suspended after an altercation at the Chandigarh airport. Officials confirmed an FIR has been filed against Kaur.
On the cinematic front, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated directorial venture, "Emergency". The film features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in significant roles.
