Jonathan Bailey announces break from acting to focus on charity work

British actor Jonathan Bailey has announced that he will be stepping away from acting for a while, a decision that may disappoint fans across the globe.
Best known for his role as Anthony Bridgerton in Netflix's hit series "Bridgerton", Bailey revealed in an interview with British GQ that after years of back-to-back projects, he plans to take a sabbatical to concentrate on his non-profit organisation, the Shameless Fund.
"I've been working solidly for about three years now, which has been amazing and mind-blowing," Bailey explained. "But with everything happening in the world right now, I'm going to stop acting for a bit next year and just focus on the Shameless Fund."
Bailey was last seen in "Jurassic World: Rebirth" alongside Scarlett Johansson and will next appear as Fiyero Tigelaar in "Wicked: For Good", premiering this November. He is also set to reprise his role as Lord Anthony Bridgerton in the fourth season of "Bridgerton".
Despite his temporary break from acting, fans will still see him on screen in the coming months before his charity work takes centre stage.
