‘Jinn’ adding more halls for fifth week

The Nader Chowdhury directorial film, "Jinn" is running successfully since its release on April 22, in 14 halls countrywide. The Puja Chery and Shajal Noor starrer film is now stepping towards its fifth week. The director and Shajol informed The Daily Star that at least ten more halls will screen "Jinn" for its fifth week.

Even though Bollywood blockbuster "Pathaan" was released earlier, "Jinn" has still managed to run successfully in theatres. Currently, the film is being screened in four halls in the capital, including Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster, Lion and BGB Hall. "In the coming Friday, 'Jinn' is going to be in its fifth week, it is a joyous moment for the entire team to witness the film being screened in even more halls," shared the director.

"Bangladeshi films are going so far and the love people have showered on our film is overwhelming for us to see," said Shajol.

Meanwhile, "Jinn" was screened in Cumilla's Town Hall last Friday. The director, along with the artistes, attended the screening. They informed The Daily Star that audiences enjoyed the film a lot.

Shajal also stated that "Jinn", a psycho-thriller film, is a breath of fresh air in the industry, as such projects have not been explored in such a way before, that is why the film is attracting audiences.
