"Hawa" was one of the most commercially successful films in the recent times, from the Bangla film industry.

Two of the film's songs went viral, one of which is "Aat ta Baje Deri Korish Na", that earned accolades from the audience.

The music arrangement of the track "Aat ta Baje Deri Korish Na" was done by Emon Chowdhury, while Basudeb Das Baul lent his voice to the song. However, it was unknown whose lyrics and composition was this song, as a result on the credit line the term 'collected' was used.

After almost a year of "Hawa's" release, the composer and lyricist of the song "Aat ta Baje Deri Korish Na" has been found through Indian media.

Recently, his identity has been highlighted through the media of Kolkata. He is Moniruddin Ahmed, a resident of Siuri, Lalkuthi village in West Bengal's Birbhum district. This song was also released on a cassette in 1986. It was then spread through different mediums as a Baul Song. However, the name of the real author was lost.

Director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon told the media outlets that they had been trying to find the real author of the song for a long time. Since they couldn't find him, they gave the credit as 'collected'.

After learning about the composer, Suman already contacted Moniruddin Ahmed. He said that the credit issue is being rectified soon. According to Suman, videos uploaded on YouTube cannot be edited, thus, they will make a separate slate and post it from the "Hawa" page as well. It will be clearly stated that they have been trying to find the composer of this song for many days. Finally found him from Indian media.

The film went on to win over the audience outside the country as well. It was released in India, the USA and Canada among other countries.

As per the director's statement given to several media, the "Hawa" team have spoken to the lyricist-composer and his son. As no one else other than himself knew that it was composition, it was not easy to identify him. Since Baul or folk songs are spread by word of mouth, they rarely have a written format. That is why it is difficult to find the exact source of them.

Sumon will soon go to West Bengal to meet lyricist-composer Moniruddin Ahmed. He also assured that the composer will be given the credit he deserves for the song.

On YouTube, the song "Aat ta Baje Deri Korish Na" has more than 26 million views on the film's channel alone. Besides, the views of the song are racking up on various channel-pages anonymously.

The film features Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, and Sariful Razz, among others.
