Netflix is gearing up to stream the second season of the acclaimed crime thriller "CID". Originally premiering on Sony LIV, the series, starring Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava, will now be accessible on this platform.

Returning in a web format, "CID" continues to captivate its dedicated fanbase. The latest season features 18 episodes, set to premiere on Netflix from today.

After that, new episodes will be released every Saturday and Sunday at 10pm, starting February 22. While the show remains available on Sony TV and Sony LIV, Netflix now offers an alternative for viewers.

Yesterday, Netflix India announced, "'CID' has now arrived on Netflix too. Watch all released episodes of the new season starting February 21 on Netflix! Plus, enjoy new episodes every Saturday and Sunday night at 10."

Apart from Shivaji, Dayanand, and Aditya, the ensemble cast of CID features Narendra Gupta, Ansha Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, and several others in key roles. 

For those unfamiliar, the show originally debuted on television in 1998. Over the years, it reached the remarkable milestone of completing 1,500 episodes. 

After running for two decades on Sony TV, the series concluded in 2018, cementing its place as one of India's longest-running television dramas.
