Two popular Bangladeshi actors, Chanchal Chowdhury and Tasnia Farin, might soon be seen together in a new film directed by renowned filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

Both actors met unexpectedly in Kolkata last Friday. They were attending a special screening of the film "Swarthapar", hosted by actress Koel Mallick. Speaking at the event, Chanchal revealed an interesting coincidence. He said both he and Farin had traveled to Kolkata to meet director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (whom he calls Tony da) to discuss a film project. However, neither of them knew the other was also coming for the same meeting.

"None of us knew that we were both in Kolkata — it was purely coincidental," Chanchal explained. "I came here to meet Tony da about a film, and she also came for the same reason. We ran into each other and were surprised to learn we were here for the same purpose."

When asked if they would work together in the film, Chanchal said, "It's not confirmed yet, but discussions are ongoing. There's a possibility. Hopefully, we'll work together." Farin also shared similar thoughts, saying, "Discussion is going on. Let's see. I can't say much more right now."

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury returned to Bengali cinema this year after nearly a decade. His recent film "Dear Maa", released in July, starred Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan in the lead role. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Chanchal and Farin will officially team up for Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's upcoming project.
