After a long break from the silver screen, actor Apu Biswas appears to be preparing for her return — and industry whispers suggest she may headline not one but two films opposite Ador Azad.

Speculation began after choreographer Mahfuz Kadri shared a Facebook post featuring a photo of Apu Biswas, Ador Azad and director Bondon Biswas together. According to industry insiders, Bondon Biswas is set to direct one of the two films. One project is expected to go on floors next month, while the other is scheduled to begin early next year.

However, both artistes and the production team have declined to make any statements before an official announcement.

Speaking about her comeback, Apu Biswas said, "I am ready to return to work. I'm preparing for a new film. But I'd prefer not to reveal who I'm working with or which project I'm starting. The production company will announce everything soon."

Ador Azad echoed a similar sentiment. "Several new films have been finalised," he said. "But the details should come from the producers and directors. We'll have to wait a little longer."

Apu Biswas was last seen in "Chhayabritto", directed by Bondon Biswas, where she starred opposite Nirab Hossain. The film was released in February last year.

Ador Azad, meanwhile, was last seen in "Swapne Dekha Rajkonna", which arrived in cinemas in September. He recently wrapped filming for "Tribunal", while his film "Pinik" awaits release. Early next year, he is scheduled to begin work on "Dhakaiya Devdas", with Shobnom Bubly starring opposite him in both projects.
