'Antarjal' releases in 34 halls
After much delay, the Siam Ahmed and Bidya Sinha Mim starrer "Antarjal", is finally releasing today in 34 theatres nationwide. Moreover, "Antarjal" will also be released in the United States and Canada, on the same date.
Recently, the "Antarjal" team also teased the audience with a promotional song titled "Welcome to Antarjal" in an open concert held at Rabindra Sarobar, Dhaka.
In this film, Siam has donned the role of a freelance programmer, Lumin, while Mim and ABM Sumon take on the roles of cyber security officers. Sunerah Binte Kamal portrays a robot engineer.
Mim dedicated 10 days to immersing herself in her role as a cyber-security officer, while Sunerah spent time in a real robotics lab to understand robotics, Siam explored Rajshahi to capture the essence of his character, and ABM Sumon portrayed a security officer in plain clothes.
Initially planned for release during Eid ul Azha, the film faced delays due to technical issues, and delayed censor certification.
