Ananta Jalil’s ‘Kill Him’ yet to clear censor and registration, director not worried
Eid is only 7 days away, Ananta Jalil starrer "Kill Him" is yet to get cleared from censor. Added to that, the film has not yet been registered by the Bangladesh Film Producers Distributors Association. Added to that, one of the songs has completed shooting just recently. Reportedly, the editing for the song and some other sequences are also to be completed.
Meanwhile, six films have been registered by the Bangladesh Film Producers Distributors Association for the upcoming Eid, and "Kill Him" is nowhere on the list. This means that the film has not yet been permitted to be released this festival.
Soumen Roy Babu, Secretary of the association informed the media that till date, they have not received any request for registration for the Ananta Jalil starrer project. However, he also stated that, since multiple films will be allowed to get theatrical release, so any time after getting the clearance from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board, the film can join the race. This can be done till the day before Eid.
The director of the project, Iqbal, is not worried about the matter so far. He told the media that he believes that he can get the clearance certificate in just a day. He also shared that Censor Board has given them a schedule for Sunday, and they will get it soon. He also denied that any work is 'pending'.
The are some other films which are still pending to get registration from the Bangladesh Film Producers Distributors Association— "Jinn", "Lal Shari". However, all of the films mentioned have received their clearance from the censor board.
