Channel i marked the final day of Independence Month with its annual programme “Rong Tulite Muktijuddho”, bringing together leading and emerging artists in a live tribute to Bangladesh’s Liberation War.

The event was held today (Tuesday, March 31) at 11:30 am at the channel’s Chetana Chattar and was broadcast live.

A regular feature of Channel i’s March programming, the event invited established painters alongside young and child artists to depict the spirit and history of the Liberation War through live painting.

This year’s edition featured several prominent artists, including Rafiqun Nabi, Hashem Khan, Farida Zaman and Rebeka Sultana, among others.

The programme was hosted by Afzal Hossain.

In addition to the painting session, the event included musical performances by Anima Roy and artistes from Sur Bihari.
