Under the initiative of "Shobar Agey Bangladesh Foundation", a series of "Swadhinata Concerts" will be held simultaneously in four divisional cities, including Dhaka, on April 11.

The announcement came at a press conference held at Uday Tower in the capital, where Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, president of the organisation and also a joint secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), confirmed the event.

Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie said, "We have designed the programme entirely around Bangladeshi music and culture. For the 'Swadhinata Concert', we seek the cooperation of all — including journalists from print, electronic, and social media, online activists, noted personalities, the administration, law enforcement agencies, and city corporations — to make the event a success."
