Shironamhin set to release ‘Ei Obelay 2’ in December
After a long wait, popular Bangladeshi band Shironamhin has announced that a sequel to their fan-favorite song "Ei Obelay" is set to release in the first week of December.
In May 2019, Shironamhin marked their return with the song "Ei Obelay". At a time when the band was struggling to meet fan expectations with a new vocalist, this song served as a lifeline for Shironamhin. Now, nearly five years later, Shironamhin is set to continue that legacy with the highly anticipated sequel, "Ei Obelay 2". The track will be released as the final song of the band's "Batighar" album in the first week of December. Construction company "The Premium Homes Limited" has collaborated on the video production.
Zia said that the song will be released simultaneously in both Bengali and English versions on the same day. The music video has been shot at various scenic locations in Thailand. Television presenter and actress Neel Hurerzahan will appear as the model in the video, while television actor Tawsif Mahbub will be seen in still photographs in some scenes.
The song "Ei Obelay 2" was penned by Shironamhin's bandleader Ziaur Rahman, while the composition was done by the band's drummer, Kazi Ahmad Shafin, who also directed the music video.
Meanwhile, the band is set to perform in Toronto, Canada for the first time. They will perform there on November 1st. Shironamhin will leave the country on Monday night to participate in the concert. Shironamhin's current lineup includes Ziaur Rahman, Kazi Ahmed Shafin, Sheikh Ishtiaque, Symon Chowdhury, and Sudipto Sinha Dipu.
