Legendary singers Sabina Yasmin and Runa Laila have returned to playback for two films releasing this Eid.

Sabina Yasmin has re-recorded her iconic song “Ei Mon Tomake Dilam” for the film “Domm”, marking a revival of the track after 44 years. Originally featured in the 1982 film “Manoshi”, the song was written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar and composed by Anwar Parvez.

The new version, created for “Domm”, retains the original title but includes additional lyrics by Tanmoy Parvez, with music arranged by Arafat Mohsin Nidhi.

Meanwhile, Runa Laila has lent her voice to an item song in the film “Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, starring Shakib Khan. The track has been composed by Pritom Hasan, who also features as a co-vocalist.

The film marks Runa Laila’s return to playback singing after a long hiatus.
