Making songs from poetry is a difficult practice. Still, many young artistes in the country are continuing this practice. However, it is usually in audio or video songs. It is a rare phenomenon for a movie's soundtrack. This phenomenon takes place in the upcoming film, "Noya Manush". In the film, one song has been adapted from a poem.

The poem is called, "Puro Manusher Gaan" and is from renowned poet Nirmalendu Goon's collection called "Banglar Maati Banglar Jol". National Film Award-winning composer Belal Khan has composed the song and also provided his voice for the track. The arrangement has been done by Shovon Roy.

Today, June 21 also marks the birthday of Nirmalendu Goon. So, on this special day, this news was made public by the team of "Noya Manush".

Talking about the song, poet Nirmalendu Goon said, "This is a difficult poem, so it is hard to tie its message with a tune. I would like to thank everyone involved, including the composer, singer and producer of the film, for accomplishing this difficult task. I really liked the song."

The song's composer and singer, Belal Khan said, "It was quite challenging for me to turn this poem into a song. But I am very happy because I have been able to create a strange and beautiful melody with this poem by Nirmalendu Goon. I am very happy with the results. I'm sure people will remember this song for a long time."

The film's producer, Sohel Rana Boyati shared, "When I was working with poet and filmmaker Masud Pathik dada, I got the opportunity to meet poet Nirmalendu Goon. One day I told him that I needed lyrics for a song from my first film. After I told him about the film's content, Nirmalendu dada gave me the poem 'Puro Manusher Gaan'. He told me, 'You can make the song from the first two stanzas, it will work well with your film's theme'. This love that he put forth for the film gave the entire team courage and inspiration."

The story of "Noya Manush" revolves around the people living in the char areas of Bangladesh. Moushumi played Sujala in this film, where she will be seen opposite renowned actor Rawnak Hasan. Noted playwright Masum Reza wrote the screenplay of the project.
