Multifaceted musician Minar Rahman officially released the song "I Wanted To Be The Sunshine" yesterday, marking the beginning of the new year. 

The beautifully arranged melody of the song, reminiscent of indie folk tunes, speaks about feelings of uncertainty and what could have been.

Minar, who composed, wrote, tuned, and performed the song, also directed its music video with a simplicity and delicacy that mirrors the sound of the track.

The video's mix and master were handled by Sami Mahmud, with cinematography led by Kaushik Iqbal.
