Legendary guitarist Selim Haider no more
Selim Haider, one of the founding members of the band Feedback, has passed away.
He breathed his last around 10 pm on Thursday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.

He stated that Selim Haider had recently been taken ill and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Dhaka. He had been suffering from cancer along with other health complications.
Before the formation of Feedback, Selim Haider's first band was Sannyasi, where the late singer Sheikh Ishtiaq served as the vocalist.
He later played guitar for Feedback and Maqsood O' Dhaka. Most recently, he had been performing with Ullas and Selim Haider & Friends.
Two of Feedback's popular songs composed by him are "Aydin Chiradin Robe" and "Oi Dur Theke Dure".
The celebrated musician, who played guitar on countless songs, had also performed with renowned singer Runa Laila.
Although introverted by nature, Selim Haider was primarily a lead guitarist but was equally skilled at playing bass, rhythm and keyboard.
