Speculation of a musical collaboration between BTS member Jungkook and Indian singer Arijit Singh has taken social media by storm after Jungkook shared photos of the two together on Instagram.

The images show the artistes spending time together in relaxed settings — sharing a meal, playing music, and sitting in what appears to be a studio environment, hinting at a possible joint project.

In his post, Jungkook revealed that he had recently travelled to India specifically for music. “I wanted to keep this a secret for a while… I came to India quietly. Not for a show, not for cameras — just for music,” he wrote, adding that the two musicians spent time talking, sharing memories and “creating something special.”

The post has fuelled widespread excitement among fans, especially following Jungkook’s previous international collaborations, including with Ed Sheeran.

Meanwhile, BTS recently made a major comeback with their fifth studio album “Arirang”, released on March 20. The album reportedly sold nearly 3.98 million copies on its first day, setting a new record in K-pop history.

One of its standout tracks, “SWIM”, has topped the iTunes charts in over 90 countries, including major markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and France. The song has also quickly climbed to the top of South Korean music charts.

The potential collaboration between Jungkook and Arijit Singh, if confirmed, would mark a significant cross-cultural musical moment between K-pop and Indian music industries.
