The Recording Academy has announced the first lineup of performers for the 2025 Grammy Awards, which will air live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event, scheduled for February 2, will once again be hosted by Trevor Noah.

The star-studded lineup includes global icons Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, and Shakira, alongside rising stars Sabrina Carpenter and Chapell Roan. Adding to the excitement, artistes like Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE, and Teddy Swims are also set to perform.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr stated that this year's Grammy Awards will not only celebrate the best in music but also highlight the transformative power of music in rebuilding and supporting those in need.

"We are thrilled that so many artistes in our community are coming together to show solidarity with fellow music makers and others affected by the recent wildfires," Mason shared, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 8pm ET/5pm PT, will also contribute to relief efforts for those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Viewers can catch the event live on CBS or stream it on Paramount+.

Artists nominated for Grammy Awards 2025

Beyoncé leads the nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards with a total of 11 nods, followed closely by Charli XCX and Post Malone, who have earned eight nominations each. Charli XCX, known for her hit "Boys and Girls", is also in the running for both Album and Record of the Year.

Billie Eilish, one of the scheduled performers, has secured seven nominations, while Shakira is vying for the award for Best Latina Pop Album. Sabrina Carpenter and Chapell Roan are in contention for the top four categories, with fierce competition for the coveted Best New Artist title. They will face nominees such as Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE, Teddy Swims, Shaboozey, and Khruangbin in this highly anticipated category.

In light of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the Recording Academy has announced the cancellation of all pre-Grammy events. However, key programmes such as the Clive Davis Gala, MusiCares Person of the Year, and the Special Merit Awards will proceed as planned, with each incorporating a fundraising component to support relief efforts.
