15th death anniversary of Shafiur Rahman tomorrow

The 15th death anniversary of Shafiur Rahman, a pioneer in the promotion of classical music in Bangladesh, will be observed tomorrow.

Shafiur Rahman was the founding general secretary of Shuddha Sangeet Proshar Goshthi and devoted his life to promoting and preserving classical music in the country.

He played a significant role in advancing classical music and nurturing its practice in Bangladesh through his lifelong commitment to the art form.
