Filmmaker Raihan Rafi has announced a new project titled “Eyes”, which will bring together acclaimed director and screenwriter Abdullah Mohammad Saad (writer) and producer Tanveer Hossain in a unique collaboration.

Reflecting on the vision behind the film, Rafi wrote, “For a long time, we have lived with a false divide between arthouse cinema and commercial cinema. I have never believed that cinema should be trapped inside these boxes. A film can be emotional, entertaining, thoughtful, urgent, and still reach people deeply. For me, that is always the dream.”

The director also highlighted the creative synergy among the three collaborators, noting that each brings a distinct perspective to filmmaking.

“Saad brings psychological depth, silence, moral pressure, and fragile human truth. Tanveer brings belief, persistence, and the producing vision to make this meeting possible. I bring my own instinct for pace, scale, emotion, and audience connection. Somewhere between these energies, I believe ‘Eyes’ can find its own language,” he wrote.

While details about the storyline, cast and production schedule have yet to be revealed, the announcement has already generated interest among cinephiles, as it marks the first collaboration between Rafi and Saad, two filmmakers known for their distinct cinematic styles.
