‘Rise High Bangladesh’ campaign launched

Bangladesh's leading English newspaper The Daily Star in association with Crown Cement have launched a campaign named "Rise High Bangladesh" aiming to encourage innovative export ideas of country's young generation.

The initiative was inaugurated at a press conference at AS Mahmud Seminar Hall of The Daily Star Centre at Dhaka's Farmgate area this afternoon, said a press release.

Prominent cricketer Tamim Iqbal, the newspaper's Associate Editor Brigadier-general (Rtd) Shahedul Anam Khan and Crown Cement's AGM-Brand Marketing Md Rokanuzzaman, among others, addressed the occasion.  Shuvashish Roy from The Daily Star gave the inaugural speech.

The export ideas will be gathered from current university and secondary-level students in order to award few of the people who have contributed effectively in the international arena and brightened up country's image.

Among these, the best three ideas will be rewarded at a gala event in November this year, according to the press release.
