Rakib murder verdict Nov 8
A Khulna court has set November 8 to deliver its verdict in the 12-year-old Rakib killing case after the completion of the trial procedure in just 10 working days.
Metropolitan Sessions Judge (acting) Dilruba Sultana fixed the date which is just two months and five days from the filing of the case, reports a Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
On August 25, Sub-inspector Quazi Mostak Ahmed, also the investigation officer of the case, submitted a charge sheet naming the three accused.
On September 6, the Metropolitan court sent the case to the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court.
Rakib, who used to work at a motorcycle garage at Tutpara Central Road in Khulna city, was tortured to death on August 3, allegedly by his former employer over quitting job.
